Compare Earth Rated 315 lavender scented poo bags with the Goo-eez pre-loaded dispenser. We break down capacity, scent, and convenience so you can pick the right dog poo bag setup.
Quick answer
Choose Earth Rated 315 poo bags if you want a large supply of lavender-scented, leak-proof bags on refill rolls. Choose the Goo-eez Dog Poo Bag Dispenser if you prefer a pre-loaded, twist-and-pull dispenser that skips rolls entirely. Your pick depends on whether scent and bulk value or no-refill convenience matters more.
Capacity and refill style: bulk rolls vs a pre-loaded dispenser
Earth Rated gives you 315 bags across 21 refill rolls, so you can stash rolls in multiple places and go weeks between restocks. The Goo-eez dispenser arrives pre-loaded with 80 bags and uses a twist-and-pull mechanism instead of a roll, which removes the fumbling step when your dog is mid-squat. The trade-off is straightforward: Earth Rated wins on total bag count and refill flexibility, while Goo-eez wins on grab-and-go simplicity with fewer bags on hand.
Scent and odor control: lavender vs unscented
Earth Rated bags are lavender scented and designed to block unpleasant poop smells, which helps if you carry used bags for any distance or want a fresher smell in your pocket or car. Goo-eez bags are unscented, so they add no fragrance and suit dogs or owners sensitive to added scents. Neither option is inherently better—scent is a personal preference, and unscented is the safer choice if you are unsure.
Hand coverage and leak protection
Earth Rated states its bags are 100% leak-proof guaranteed and large enough to fully cover your hand and sleeve during pickup, with extra room to tie a secure knot. The Goo-eez catalog does not list bag dimensions or a leak-proof guarantee, so if hand coverage and leak protection are your top priority, Earth Rated gives you more explicit assurances to rely on. For Goo-eez, you are choosing the dispenser format first and accepting less published detail about the bag itself.
Key trade-offs to weigh
- Bag count vs convenience: Earth Rated gives 315 bags on refill rolls; Goo-eez gives 80 bags in a pre-loaded dispenser. If you hate reloading and want the simplest pickup, Goo-eez wins. If you want fewer restocks and lower cost per bag, Earth Rated wins. Estimate your daily bag use to see how long each option lasts.
- Scent vs unscented: Earth Rated is lavender scented to block odors; Goo-eez is unscented. Pick scented if smell control matters; pick unscented if you or your dog are sensitive to fragrance.
- Published leak protection: Earth Rated explicitly guarantees 100% leak-proof bags and large hand coverage. Goo-eez does not list bag size or a leak-proof guarantee in the supplied facts. If leak protection is non-negotiable, Earth Rated is the clearer choice. Check the bag dimensions on Goo-eez if hand coverage is critical for you.
